The weather got very nice over the weekend.

Well, I’ve finished the lynda.com After Effects Essential Traning tutorial! I have to see it’s really peaked my interest, plus I’ve been told I will be putting my knowledge to work soon, so I hope to add some motion work to my portfolio soon. I’m planning on doing the Beyond the Basics tutorial, but first I’ve started in on the Dreamweaver tutorial to change things up a bit.

I’m still being retained at my current position, but I’m still seeking a permanent job.

I really got through a lot of the After Effects tutorial from lynda.com and I hope to finish it out this week. The tutorial really just touches the surface on a lot of what it can do. I believe I will have to advance to the Beyond the Basics tutorial and dig a little deeper. I’m being encouraged to learn more about After Effects at my current position, so I’m hoping to get some real-world experience with it soon!
